Na-na-na na, na-na-na na, hey heyyyyy, goodbye cable modem

I’ve mentioned before the issues I was having with my cable internet service. Well, now that I’m no longer an unemployed guy with too much free time, and I’m now officially a telecommuter (there are surprising similarities, except now I’m paid, so that’s nice), my internet connection is very important. And my Time Warner connection started dropping, routinely, in the morning, and coming back sometime around 7:00 or 8:00 in the evening. Customer service was no help, and the technician they were supposed to send never showed, never called, and no one followed up on the open service call. Wonderful.
Fortunately, AT&T has just rolled fiber to my neighborhood node, and as a telecommuter, that qualifies me for the U-Verse Small Business package. It’s the only way to get their highly acclaimed U-Verse internet without bundling it with their sub-standard TV service. Its $10 more, but it includes Wi-Fi access at AT&T hotspots, which are quite numerous. So, I’m pleased to say that the last mile of intertubes to my residence now comes through AT&T, and I couldn’t be happier.

good stuff man, i am quite jealous right now. great internet is something i have been without for so long that i forgot how good i had it. slow internet sucks for a gamer.
also, on my Firefox, the name and mail fields are that nasty yellow that you saw on my computer, if you want to fix that.

Ug. That means that I actually have to download firefox, and crack open my php templates again. Blurgh.

I have the U-Verse and I am LOVING it…:) Even better deal if you can write it off as a business expense (must figure out now how I can do that…)
