First of all: a disclaimer. The fervor behind politics mixed with the bravado behind an anonymous internet connection truly brings out the worst in people. That, and the fact that politics don’t really fit into the niche I’m attempting to carve here, means that despite the coming hurricane of idiocracy that comes with people arguing politics with complete strangers via keyboard, you won’t see any much of it here. That said, this was too funny to pass up.

Despite my belief that this YouTube thing is just a fad, occasionally there is some mild entertainment to be found amongst the teens desperate for attention and the busty women talking about words. But I was pleasantly surprised to discover barringer82 and his stash of filmmaker tributes. They’re painstakingly edited clip tributes that not only show off more of the memorable scenes and moments from the filmmakers’ works, but really capture the essence of their films as well. And they’ve prompted me to go directly to my Blockbuster queue and start moving stuff around.  Clips after the jump. More >
